The Word Is Spreading Among Friends…
So Ms. X is turning out to be one of my best clients; she has referred several people to me already through her conversations with friends, and by showing her sexy photos to them. I’ve spoken with a few people she gave my number to. I recently booked one (more on that later), and just hung up after a second conversation with my potential writer client, Ms. Z. Her blog idea is great! I asked her to send me a look when she posted it to her own blog. I was so impressed that I asked her if I could repost the whole thing here (the previous post.) What a fantastic way to "get" the entire experience from the other side of the camera.
With this in mind, I went back and asked Ms. X if she would write a blurb about her experience for the blog from her perspective; explaining that it would be essentially a written dialogue of her whole experience. I didn’t mention to her that it was actually her friend (Ms. Z's) idea because I am unsure if they have spoken about Z's interest in doing this herself, and confidentiality and my client's trust is of the utmost importance to me. I wasn't surprised when Z agreed to do it with giddy enthusiasm. She said that it would give her a chance to kind of live the whole experience again. Hmmm...that is a great point that I never would have thought of.
I see the blog idea from a client's perspective, as insight for anyone considering this, into the whole process and will help people connect with their own thoughts about it.
For me, this will be an open invite into the mind of anyone pondering the idea of acting on their desire to have themselves photographed in a new and exciting way. From front to back, there is a process people go through...the intrigue, then the building of confidence, the research, and finally reaching out to a photographer to help them along their journey. Coming at this entire process from my side is what I know; but seeing the words from the other side of the equation is going to be a brand new experience.
And while she hasn’t booked and picked a date yet, Ms. Z is now saying “WHEN” instead of “IF”. That would make two friends of Ms. X that will take the Boudoir plunge with me, and a testament that the Boudoir experience is contagious.
Oh yeah...more on the first client friend of X's who booked with me in my next post … that will be a fun story to share with you later on.
